Ardara Single Malt is produced at The Ardara Distillery,sitting proudly on the town’s Show Field and bordered bythe Owentocker River as it flows into Loughros Mor Bay.Built in 2021 this is the inaugural release. The distillery’sbeating hearts are the three beautiful copper stills fromForsyth’s of Scotland that stand three storeys high behindthe glass curtain wall.
The distillery is founded on capturing maximum characterfrom highly peated grain and has an “all-grains in”approach almost unique in Ireland and meaning that thegrain stays in the process all the way to the wash still.This makes for distinctive spirits that are soft and smooth,with a fruity, nutty character overlaid with a sweet peatand pipe smoke blanket. But most of all it retains thesmokiness in the grain husks all the way to the bottle.
TASTING NOTES
Traditional mash bill with high phenol contentmalted barley.
- Nose: Cereal sweet, biscuity, fresh fruit, raisins, figs,coconut and spice, sweet pipe tobacco, ashy.
- Taste: Hot beignets, intensely sweet, poached pears, roasted coconut, almond, leather, rolled tobacco, sweet smoke, camp fire, a morning after ashiness and a sweet baked apple finish.
- ABV: 46%

Terminal 2 Departures: After you pass through the security screening area, walk through the shopping area and you will see the Click & Collect Collection Desk at the end of the walkway.
Terminal 2 Arrivals: Immediately after you pass through the customs screening area, you will see Dublin & Cork Airport Duty Free arrivals shopping area on your right. Our collection point is located here.
Cork:
Departures: Directly after security, at the Click & Collect desk in Dublin & Cork Airport Duty Free store
