The Fourth Edition of Teeling Whiskey's award-winning Wonders of Wood Series is a Single Pot Still Whiskey, crafted from a recipe of 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley, which has been triple distilled in their Dublin distillery and fully matured in Virgin Carpathian Oak casks. Sourced from the vast and ancient forests of the Carpathian Mountains, this rare oak is known for its tight grain and rich tannins, which impart deep, complex flavours. When used for whiskey maturation, it produces a distinctive spiciness, sandalwood and fruit character unique to Irish Whiskey.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Rosewater with candied fruits and freshly cut wood notes.
Taste: Strong spice mellowed with apple, pears and sandalwood.
Finish: Clean finish with puff pastry and campfire smoke.
Teeling Whiskey work in partnership with the Tree Council of Ireland, with each release in the Wonders of Wood Series resulting in an acre of native Irish Trees being planted in Ireland.
With our FREE Click & Collect service, you can now place your order up to 12 hours in advance of collection and pick it up from one of our convenient collection points in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in Dublin airport or in Cork airport (72 hours in advance for Cork).
Prefer to travel handsfree? You can shop online before you fly and collect your purchases on your arrival back into Ireland. Terminal 1 Departures: Our Click & Collect desk is conveniently located in Dublin & Cork Airport Duty Free Store, directly after you exit security.
Terminal 1 Arrivals: After you pass through Customs and enter the Arrivals Hall, the Click & Collect desk is conveniently located on your right.
Terminal 2 Departures: After you pass through the security screening area, walk through the shopping area and you will see the Click & Collect Collection Desk at the end of the walkway.
Terminal 2 Arrivals: Immediately after you pass through the customs screening area, you will see Dublin & Cork Airport Duty Free arrivals shopping area on your right. Our collection point is located here.
Cork:
Departures: Directly after security, at the Click & Collect desk in Dublin & Cork Airport Duty Free store
Arrivals: At the Information Desk in the Arrivals Hall
